it’s a south indian style biryani . very shortcut way to prepare biryani. Mushroom rice biryani is a delicious one pot dish made with rice, mushrooms, masala powder & herbs.
Step by step direction:
- Clean mushroom properly and cut into pieces, 1 big size onion slicely cut, coriander leaves and mint leaves clean properly and cut, take one big size tomato make it puree.
- Soak 1 bowl of Basmati rice about 15-20 minutes.
- Heat a kadai on medium flame, add 1 tbsp oil and 2 tbsp desi ghee heat it then add dry masala(1 bay leaf,5 pcs black paper,3 pcs cardamom, 4 pcs cloves, 1 cinnamon, 1 star anise) saute it, then add onion and ginger garlic paste saute it .
- Then add spices 1teaspoon turmeric powder, 1 tbsp red chili powder, 2tbsp biryani masala, mix it properly then add tomato puree saute it properly till oil separate. Add mushroom mix it properly with masala.
- Add 1/3 cup curd, mint leaves,coriander leaves, Salt according to taste then mix it well
- Add little water and Soaked rice , cover it about 10-15 minutes .
- Transfer in a bowl and serve hot.
